Cost to Paint Hood?

How much should I expect to pay for getting a hood prepped and painted to stock color? Should I get the fenders blended? I was thinking of getting the VIS CF SRT hood. Another option is the RamAir hood, which can come pre-painted. My magnum is silver, am I taking a chance on a pre-painted hood without getting the fenders and front facia not blended?

To save a few bucks, can I prep the hood myself before paint or this is something better left to the pro's?

If it needs a lot of work, you can do most of it. Any painter worth thier salt will want to paint the entire front clip to ensure matching. I'd expect a $600 bill to do it right.
