    contiseal flat

    Ok so I was under the impression that the contiseals could seal up like an 1/8th inch hole, but I pulled a little 1/2 inch long screw that was real skinny and I go out the next day and flat, so I fiqure it was because I didn't run the tire after pulling it out so I air it up go do some running around, out all day, no light on evic so I fiqure I am good, go out again this morning and it wasn't all the way flat again but was below 20lbs. So I aired it up again and run on it today, so Is this normal, I fiqure I can't just take it anywhere for repair and can they even be repaired if necessary?

    i had one that had a slow, slow leak in it (took about 4 days til it noticably needed air) and got it repaired with a plug. that seemed to fix it. until i damaged a sidewall on the same tire later. continental replaced it free of charge.

    Yep, they don't seal worth a crap...pulled a nail out of one when I still had them and it slow-leaked until I got a plug put in it....what a joke....

    I didn't think anyone would plug a tire anymore.

    I hope I can get it done. This is ridiculous, I know if anything the hole has to be like pin size, the screw wasn't even this ------- long and the head was stil to the out side of the tread. Where did you go to get it replaced? Dealer?
