I was on my way into work this morning and had my first REAL problem with my charger.
I got about 2 miles out of town, I was in the left lane passing a slower car when the check engine light came on and I had NO throttle response. I was lucky there was a left turn about 500ft infront of me, so I made the turn and coasted to a stop. I entered 'test mode' or 'diagnostic mode' (which ever you preffer to call it) on the EVIC and didn't see ANY codes.
I shut the car off, let it sit for a minute anr re-started it. Ran fine, all the gagues where fine, but the light was still on with NO code. The next test was to see if it was still 'dead in the water', I put it in gear and gave it some throttle, it worked fine.
Has anyone else had this happen? Any insight to this BEFORE I take it to the dealership at noon? (by the way, car had 4,860 miles on it at the time it happend)
Any help will be greatly apreciated.
Thanks,
Josh

And the dead shall walk
I went to the local dealership at lunch today and basically stood there waiting fro 20 minutes like I didn't exist. After finally getting someones attention, they said it takes an hour and a half to run the scan on cars and it would cost me $95 to do it!! The car is still under warranty, to my knowledge, if there is a problem like this, it should be fixed under warranty free (including the scan price). They said the soonest they can get to it is about 2:oopm. I have an appointment elsewhere at 3pm and thats a 45 minute drive, so I told them their service sucks, I lost 25 minutes of my time and I'm taking my business elsewhere. This is not the first problem I've had with these losers, but they are just down the road from me. Now, I'm in a bad mood, I got no where on what happened to my car and I'm hungry (wasted my lunch time for nothing
