Check Engine Light: Code is P0032

I can't find trouble code P0032 in the standard OBDII list. Does someone know what this code is?

This came up out of the blue, on a cold start. Everything seems to operate just fine. Full power, no stumbling, etc.

It's going to the dealer soon, so it'll get handled. Just would like to know.

    From the service manual:

P0032-O2 SENSOR 1/1 HEATER CIRCUIT HIGH

    When Monitored:
Battery voltage above 10.6 volts, ASD is powered up, and O2 heater is off.

    Set Condition:
Desired state does not equal Actual state. One Trip Fault. Three good trips to turn off the MIL.

    Possible Causes

    (K99) O2 1/1 HEATER CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN
    (Z904) O2 1/1 HEATER GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN
(K99) O2 1/1 HEATER CONTROL SHORTED TO BATTERY VOLTAGE
    O2 SENSOR
    PCM

There's obviously more, but some of the diagnostics include checking resistance across the O2 sensor heater element.

Looks like fnkychkn beat me to the punch.

Also, regarding the "three good trips to turn off the MIL part", I induced a code P0113 by disconnecting my air intake temperature sensor. I reconnected it and the MIL stayed on through 3 engine starts/trips. On the 4th engine start, the light stayed out . . . worked as advertised.

    Good luck.

I appreciate your responses guys. If it was not going in anyway, I'd follow Tommy T's tip and attempt to get the light to clear. I'll let the dealer determine if a part needs to be replaced.

They're going to have to flash some programs anyway. Perhaps it will clear the culprit.
