    Cel Help!@!!!!

So two weeks ago I stuck a 160 tstat in for the track.

Finally threw the CEL on the way back from the track.

Pulled fuse 11 to clear the code p0128; however, I have had the 180 tstat back in for the past 10 days and still get a CEL everytime I start the car.

    CRAP CRAP CRAP.

Made sure fluid levels were all good..but I really want to get rid of this Yellow Engine light

Can anyone give me some instructions??

    Thanks for your help!!!

are you sure the orange rubber seal is seated correctly?

I have a 180 t-stat and it threw that code once...dealer cleared it up with starscan and I haven't seen it since

If you are not hitting 180*in a certain time frame the CEL won't clear. You may have a stuck T-Stat as well.Try clearing with fuse 11 then autostick when cold with higher rpms till you hit 180*.If the CEL comes back you may have to change the T-Stat.

thx guys, I'll toss the stock 210 tstat in and see if that clear the CEL.

I dont care about the code as much as I do the CEL.

    Looks like I have a 5 minute tstat project...

Not high,Jeeze(gotta spell everything out around here)....just a little higher than cruising at 30 mph at 1200.
