Car keeps stalling!! HELP!!

Guys.. I need some help.

Over the course of the last 3 weeks, my car has stalled 3 times on me. Each time, the car has been started and on the road for about 2 km's. It always happens when the car comes to a stop. Everything just dies on the instrument panel lights up with all the warnings. At first I thought maybe the alternator was crapping out on me, but I really need some advice on what you think could be the problem.

The car is scheduled to go into the shop on Monday (13th) so I would like to research this and go in very well prepared.

Does it usually happen right after you fill up the fuel tank?

No, the first time I had driven about 30kms after filling and this latest time, I had only 1/2 tank of gas. I read some posts about filling too full and whenever the pump shuts off, that's the amount I stay at. I used to squeeze a bit more in, but don't anymore.

lumpy i have had this happen also, when i first got her (about 2yrs ago) but when i took it in to the dealership, of course it couldnt be duplicated. she almost did it again the other day, but i caught it and hit the accelerator. i think it has something to do with the gas. i filled up the other day at 7-11, and when the pump cut on i could hear for a split second that no gas came out, then the pump jerked, and then i could hear the gas start flowing. i dunno if it made any difference, but i put some gas treatment in to see if it would help out. im thinking it maybe that i had some dirty gas or something. so, i say all that to say this, watch what kind of gas you are running. maybe if they just filled the tanks where you fueled up, there still could be a lot of sediment floating around and you possibly sucked some of it up.

I thought about the dirty gas thing and I always fill up at the same place. We only have Esso, Petro Canada and Shell around here and I have been using Esso 91 octane in the Charger for the last 17 months. The first 16 months were fine, but it has happened 3 times in the last few weeks. I am going to try and see if I can duplicate the results using the Key Fob, cause that seemed to work for some people. I am also going to check my connections on the battery, cause that seems to be another cause for people. If neither of those work, then she's off the the dealer on Monday. I swear that if this happens while I'm on the highway, there is going to be some serious hell to pay..
