car dies

[STAGE 3 R/T]

Ok I have a 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T. Before I did my install I would be at a light waiting for it to turn green and the car just dies. This has happened now 2 times after I have done my cam heads and headers. My gauges will will go to zero lights flicker and then she dies. Any suggestions?

note to self make sure neg battery cable is tighten!

really? cause I don't get that code on my car. i have nothing. I know the RKE will flash up when that happens. I will change the battery out tomorrow!

The 300s seem to stall at idle sometimes not sure if magnums are the same. Mine has done this 3 times.

BTW...how high is the idle set?

Yes my lights go out before she dies...
My gauge lights flicker, stereo will die the gauges die then either everything comes on or the car dies. I also noticed when this happened yesterday that my gas average and DTE was reset. Something is happening. Really weird.

Start checking your grounds.

as Erik said, if electrical components start to shut down before idle speed starts to drop, sounds like an electrical/ground problem. if, however, they are the result of idle speed drop, then PCM controls should be checked.

just started thinking... when my front window broke (long story lol) some glass comes out of the front a/c vents. is there anything down there that the broken glass could cut or???
