    canadian sublime in US?

Looking to get a sublime, and found one in canada. I never even thought about it, but I saw pics and hte gauges were in kilometers! I guess it never crossed my mind, but that actually is kinda cool to me. The ODO reads in KM as well, can that be changed to miles? Is there anything else abotu the car that is different than US or anything that would cause problems for me later, like inspections, emissions, etc?

if the car has evic, then yes it can be switched to miles. differences will be metric cluster, ATC in degrees Celsius, daytime running lamps, and a different "1 of..." series. standards should be the same, our standards are higher than most US states.

OK, yea I mean I think its kind of cool to have the KM guages, even though the mph is the smaller set, but I just wanted to make sure I had to do anything extra to keep a canadian car in the united states. How about aftermarket, is the car basically the exact same in terms of factory and aftermarket parts? Just want to make sure it isnt different and I get screwed in parts

lol, exactly the same. 50 state emissions system, but you have to pay for parts in canadian funds, and say eh a lot more.

seriously, theyre all canadian cars. same plant, just the novelty of having metric gauges and "1 of 120" or so.
