you have a strut bar... its under the black plastic cover at the back of the engine compartment
and they seem to work fine with the police version (same strut bar... just a stiffer set of springs)

^What he said. The frame is built right. I don't own the instrumentation to measure it, but our frame flex is so friggin minute that the aftermarket bar is really a waste of weight and money, IMHO.

I put a strut bar on mine (knowing that it had one from the factory), and it actually made a noticeable difference in the steering feel. Turn in feels a bit crisper and even possibly a bit flatter. It's nothing like the dramatic change a hotchkis sway bar makes, but there is a difference.
If you're trying to squeeze every last drop out of the handling on your ride, I'd recommend it.
