Well I got my Rotors and pads today and Magnum PI stopped by to assist with the change. While not everything went well as planned, $hit happens and it'll get dealt with soon as I can get the part..
So anyway first and foremost Thanks Denroy for working with me on the Mag..
Second I mention only due to I know it'll come up .. Yes I went with Drilled rotors, Deal with it.. LOL..
Now on to pics of what and why then where things went south..
Rear driver rotor appeared the worst so Here are some shots of it..
Old Pads on the bottom..
The Rotor..
New Rotor.. (actually the passenger side one)
And the Driver Rear done awaiting the wheel..
The Passenger side rear and Front went without issues and were both in better shape then the driver rear. All 4 BTW still had the Factory retaining clips and the Mag has 114,500 on the dash now..
Here's the Front Driver side..
And what should be goig on it for Rotor..
Now we get to the Gone South part..
The slide pins that hold the Caliper to the bracket on the Driver front was seized inside the the bracket and of course snapped. So tomorrow I have to aquire a replacement bracket and slide pin.
Here's the Broke parts..
Thank you goes to Fargo as with a quick message he got me the part numbers and estimated costs...
So tomorrow brings a new day, and I can stress all I want but that won't help so life goes on and it'll get fixed.. In the mean time it's bolted back together and sitting on all fours not NOT moving anywhere..
