    Blastin' Bob's is BadA$$

I won a set of Blastin Bob's on ebay for $114... Then discovered Bob is local to me, so I swung by this morning and had Bob install the set.

First off Bob is a great guy, totally professional, very skilled and I HIGHLY recommend anyone in the Socal area needing exhaust work of any kind go see him, his shop is Allied Mufflers in Bellflower CA.

He does everything from stock replacement to full exhaust systems and custom systems and he sells most of the popular brands and has a large selection of tips, and does any make of car...

now with that said, he installed my new Blastin' Bob's and replaced my stock suitcase (close to 50,000 miles on it) with a slightly used Daytona suitcase... and welded everything in place, cost was just over $200 for everything (sold me the Daytona Suitcase for $40... which is $540 brand new)....

I got the 7db pipes, the sound is AWESOME, and no drone that I could tell.

He does the 7db system for around $150 installed.. So if you are looking to remove the resonators I highly recommend going with the Blastin' Bob's

Here is a picture with the left side on and the right side still stock, big difference in the look and size of the tips:

and here is a final shot of the install:

I concur, Bob is a wizard! Almost seems foolish to buy a $1,000+ catback now doesn't it?

I'm doing the "Blastin Bob's for SRTs only" on the modified (2 1/2" to 2 3/14") stock SRT cat-back that is on the "Mango Express" (5.7 Daytona)

It has Mopar Performance heads, Mopar LT headers/cats, Frankentake III & 6.1 intake manifold.

It steadily increases in size from 2 1/2" @ the cats to 2 3/4" @ the midpipes/suitcase to 3" @ the tail pipes. It should breath very well, but what do you guys W/that "Blastin Bob's" system on an SRT think, will it be LOUD @ hi-way cruising speed?

I want it LOUD when I stand on it, but not annoying @ cruise.

It's not bad cruising (except between 2200rpm and 2300rpm which is about 70mph on the highway) but when you lay on the throttle it is SCREAMING loud and sounds great.

With the higher gearing of the R/T, hopefully that 2200-2300 RPM range will be above that 70 mph range as that is my normal cruise speed on the interstate.

This is Wifey's daily driver, so it has to pass "the wife test".
