    Black out charger

    Hey guys I am in the process of blacking out my charger and want to get rid of the Chrome crosshairs on my grille. I already have the honeycomb grill insert. Does anyone know if you can order the crosshairs for our grills??

    Im not sure but I think the chrome is an insert and the ones without the chrome are formed different. You might think about just painting the chrome (after taking a scotch pad to rough it up). You can even go with a flat black to offset it abit. The only draw back is getting bugs and suck off of flat, and then getting wax on it and getting shiny spots.

    Just buy the SRT8 grill assembly. It comes with black color matched cross hairs with the honeycomb insert. Dont think you can just buy the cross hairs.
    Either buy the whole assembly and sell your honeycomb, or see if any SE guys want to trade....Se's come with color matched crosshairs

    K thanks for the advise. I want to take it off and paint it matte black myself but I am terrified that I will ruin it. I will look into maybe ordering the srt-8 grille.

    Only problem with painting chrome is every little rock chip will show like a planetarium.

    Yeppers, if it is chromed plastic like the bumper from model kits, you can sand the chrome off. Try Cleveland-Pick-A-Part (vendor here) they may have some good deals on a take off.

    The Daytonas come with flat black cross hairs, there's another option for ya

    Here you go. http://www.moparsupercenter.com/dayt...le.html?cat=91 This is the flat black Daytona grill. But its a complete assembly. Maybe you could call and ask if they sell just the crosshairs. I'm doing the same thing to my car and IMO it looks good against the Brilliant Black.
