I know it says the brother in law is an idiot, but have people noticed anything out of the ordinary with these clutches?

5k miles with some drag racing, and no problems here.
All along, I have noted that the clutch is difficult to be smooth with this clutch. It's more like a "on/off" switch. I've driven sticks since I was 15, and never had one fight me quite as much as this one. It's not so much a complaint (other than it makes it tricky to launch at the track), more an observation.
My clutch just barely got broken in around 8,000 miles. 10,000 and a new clutch? That is terrible.

I have had no clutch issues, As a matter of fact, still have the Org with 1100 miles. However At 9000 miles we did put in a new tranny. Started makeing some bad chattering noises when under load in 1st and 2nd. Works fine now.
Big torq - requires big clutch...and they will be quirky...
Learn to drive it like a car with big torq and you'll be fine...
I have a 4000# clutch in this ....
7500 rpm and launch....works fine...
