Hey all, So I'm getting ready to do the ATF fluid change and I'm stumped. Dodge says their ATF +4 for $7.50 / QT is what it takes. Mercedes says it days their ATF 134 for $22 / L (1QT = .94L or something negligible like that). What do ya'll think?

The NAG1 comes with ATF+4 from the factory so that's what I'd use.
There are actually plenty of guys over on the Benz forums that are using ATF+4 in their W5A580 transmissions with no problems--and thumbing their nose at the Mercedes parts guy.
ATF + 4 it is then. Thanks ya'll
If you think that Mercedes fluid is expensive consider this stuff:
It's the special dual clutch ATF designed for the transmission in the GT-R. Price? $114.98 per quart at your friendly Nissan dealer. That puts the cost for a routine transmission fluid change at about $1000.![]()
