anyone in the midwest do the paddle shifter mod yet???

i was wondering if anybody in the indiana region has done the lxforums amg paddle shifter mod. was wondering if anybody wanted to get together at my house or at a neutral location and do a few cars at once. i guess i am asking for some help. i could do it on my own but would like some forum buddies that might have already done it to save me from making some mistakes. just curious. how about just some simple tips. i just ordered my stuff and should be getting it next week some time.

I am in Indianapolis and wanting to do the mod also. Let me know know where you got your kit through and I will get mine on the way and I would be interested in getting a meet together to knock a couple out.

that sounds awesome. i am in the fort. maybe you can come up here or i can come down there. i have another buddy comming from indy as well. he has a 426. i got the paddle shifters from atwong. and the circuit board from plcman. do a search or send pms to them. not to be rude but do you have any mod experience. if so what is your speciality.

Feel free to chime in on either of those with any questions as the come up, or before you get started. It's not too bad if you do it a step at a time, and refer back to the writeups as you get the different steps exposed. It might not make perfect sense reading it the first time, but if you can refer to it as you go along, it should help a lot.

I own a custom body shop in Indy, so know enough to be dangerous! I am sure with all the write ups on here we can wade through it. I have a spare wheel we can do also to do the first one and Ill sell it if it turns out ok. Ill be close to you in a week or so as I have to take my car back to Ed at LMspeed for some minor tweaking.

Magic I think it will take a few to get my stuff as I just ordered it today. It looks like if you get all the goodies , it will run $230ish for parts. My shop is just south of downtown 1665 s meridian st. I started it with a friend as I was sick of the sub standard work people are spitting out these days. We are small and intend to stay that way as we both have other businesses.
