Anyone know what this is? Fnky?

I got my Magnum back from the dealership today. I'm happy with what was done. I mentioned that the rear windows sometimes wouldn't roll down unless I gently struck the inside door handle with my fist. Since they were working fine at that moment I just wanted it documented for when my warranty expires and they suddenly stop working for good. Instead of the documentation they replaced the window regulaters.

The part I'm having trouble with is one they had to order. They called it "PLUG DOOR" 1AE55BD1-AA and they only ordered one of them. What is this part and why would they only need one for two rear doors? Maybe it was broken or something?

The other items I had them check and get new parts for:

Radio/A/C Bezel UZ86DX9-AA. One of the 4 screws that holds the A/C controls in broke off inside the threaded hole. I think they over tightened it the last time they replaced the bezel.

Loose rocker panel (seal cladding). They installed some new plastic pop rivets. Not sure it's any tighter but at least they did something. The panels had been slightly damaged by previous owner/driver. I ask them to check for a TSB on loose panels but apparently they didn't find anything.

The kick panel cowl on the right side is damaged and missing an alignment pin. They must have damaged this when they replaced the dash (I had the dash bubble). I had never touched this part and found it cracked and not fitting properly. They ordered new part. UM54BD1-AC.

And finally the tail gate hatch won't go up by itself. The hatch struts are weak. Ordered new parts. 5065600-AD.

Thanks. They are saying mine are damaged which is probably true. They are not cracked or anything but the previous driver/owner scraped them on the very bottom.

Hey Mark, I did a search on Moparstore.com & that part number is a "plug door trim panel", so I would assume they broke one taking the door panel off? Here is the link: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...&siteid=214272 (enter the part number)

Thanks. No picture though. The doors seem fine but I'm not going to pull on them too hard.

can't access parts from home. judging from the part number sequence, it looks like a trim plug. possibly a plastic panel retainer. they can be difficult to remove and are very brittle.
Izzy pics money talks. unfortunately, mine usually says... "good bye!"
