Anybody got a clue what the part number is...

I am having Ernie sand and paint me a fuse box cover, but I also want to get the "jump start post" cover painted but we can not seem to find a part number for it... (It does not come with the fuse box cover) Anybody have any ideas?

What I am looking for is the bright red plastic cover seen on the left side of the fuse box in the picture below...

Thanks for any help anybody can provide... Daniel

Wish I could help, but why don't you just pop it off and paint it yourself? I wouldn't think it would be that obvious. Maybe paint is flat black to blend in. I plan on doing that myself.
    Just a thought.
    Take care,
    Christopher

Appreciate the feedback. I may have to paint it myself, but I been keeping Ernie very busy lately, and things do look better coming from his spray gun than they do from my spray can... SO just trying to keep it all consistent.

I had not thought about the flat black though... since I wouldnt be able to match his job on the fuse cover (at least not close enough to keep me happy), flat black might be a good alternative... Unless I happen to find the part number that is.

Have you tried to remove and check for a molded part #?

Did you ever find the part or a manufacturer? There is a thread going on the "other site" to find the part. Regards, Bob.

Bob, it's sold as part of the wire harness, it is not a separate part, buy the $1500 harness and you get the $0.05 cap for free..

Hi. I have been told that it may be part of the 04607503AA, AB or AC Wiring, Battery Positive, which lists for around $101. We are working on trying to locate a direct source for the cap. Thanks, regards, Bob.
