Any way to silence remote start horn pulse?

Thanks to the generous help of several forum members here I successfully installed my MOPAR remote start on Tuesday. Things are working great, but I've discovered a small problem and I was wondering if it could be changed. When the car is started from the remote, there is a short horn beep. I see that in the options bank #1, option #7 shows you can set a short or long horn chirp, but no silent option. Due to my very early hours and very close neighbors, I was hoping to silence the horn chirp when starting the car to let my neighbors sleep (well as much as my exhaust will them at least). I understand that I will need the horn for any future programming, but can I just ground it right now for day to day use? Just pull the wire off the horn relay and leave it open? Thanks.

Yup, just pull the wire. Even during future programming you don't need the horn, because the unit will still flash the lights.

I removed my wire from the horn relay in the front fuse box. The wire is still there for programming, just not hooked up for daily use.

try this, If you have EVIC scroll to personal settings scroll to the sound horn setting and set on off iff not, best bet is a switch, unplug it, or let everyone know your locking or unlocking your car
