So most of you know I am the proud new owner of Trojan's 300C and I must say I am very happy and most impressed with everything,everything but the tune.Apparently the tuner doesn't believe in knock sensors.I had my suspicions and they were confirmed with a full load log,WOT in 4th gear at 30 mph.......there should have been at least a few degrees of knock...more like 5-6*.So I got to drive the car cross country like it was made of glass.......well the pistons may as well have with no knock sensors.So I go to download the tune to have the knock sensors turned on and ...gee....what a surprise.....the tuner is locked and I can't pull the tune.....way back I thought it was done to protect his tunes......after the way this car drives part throttle I am convinced it is so no one else can see just what kind of crap he loads in your car for a part throttle tune.

Worlds first N/A stock motor LX Mopar 11sec.1/4mi. pass! Best SLB 11.660@117.63 1.70 60ft.
Now Cartek equipped new best! heads, cam, ported intake 3,975#RW 11.071@126 1.51 60ft.

Wow. I've heard that speculation before, and I'd love to hear your thoughts once you dump it and get another tune.

You will get my thoughts 100%.Imagine how thrilled I was going through Nebraska in the middle of the night only to find the one and only open gas station only had 89 octane and I had the gas light on.

new tune from scratch........oh yeah....the 02's and t-stat codes are shut off and locked in the tune so it will never show ready and never pass OBDII emissions. Originally Posted by Magnum375 Jr.

ooof.... I knew he locks his tunes....but that other stuff is scarey...I'm sure you'll get it resolved sucks you have to go through it....shoud have been a clean inspection here in NY since the car came from Cali.

Can you elaborate little more on this / put it in plain English (So us regular folks can understand
) as I have his tune and was always very happy with it but not if there is a chance of something wrong going to happen. Especially since I use nitrous....
Also how can I check if my O2 sensors are turned off and T-stat.
I have gotten the T-stat code twice in the last 8 months.........
More details please as I will need to be tuned in 2 months and now wouln't know who to use.
