    Am I psycho?

    I leave my radio on loud for at least a half hour a day with the car not running. I've gotten into a habit of sending 10 amps via a battery charger I've had sitting here overnight. It stops charging when it's fully charged. Is it bad, good, or what?

    If it's just the factory radio I doubt it will make a difference, as long as you drive it once in awhile. If you have a lot of after market stuff I'd keep the charger handy.

    Just because it's very convenient and in my head it seems like it's healthy. But I don't know the science behind topping off batteries.

    Just the factory... lights and radio stays on for a little bit each day. A few of my friends hang out in my car every night, lol. Not much aftermarket that stays on... just the radar detector and some LEDs.

    Ummmmmm why are you listening to the car radio w/ the car off for half an hour every day???? If the car starts after you run the radio, then there's no need to go home and put it on a charger. Either way, you're cycling the battery and that'll cause it to wear out faster than it otherwise would.

    I would think your making it worse... topping it off.. ok.. maybe I could see the reason....

    drainign it to top it off... Makes no sense at all
