Air vs Coilover
I have been wondering how well an air setup would do at a track/daily. I dont plan on doing much racing, maybe twice a year or so, but what advantages or disadvantages does air have over a coilover setup or even the Eibach? I totally do not have the money to rip everything out and put a 4-link under there, so I can just do with whatever is on the market. I have been inquiring about the Tien 16-way adjustable ones since they just came out with a kit for the LX platforms, but I also can appreciate and air setup for daily driving since it reduces body roll greatly over stock. What should I do? My stock RT ones are almost shot due to almost 1000 lb of audio (which I am trying to get rid of btw), so I think I better upgrade soon before my car get a total drop for good...any expert or novice opinions for me?

It kinda depends what your plans for the car are and how much you want to spend. From the looks of it you more of a show/sound guy. I would say that air would be a great choice for you although it's a bit more expensive.
You will get adjustability out of both systems, however one of them is at the flick of a switch, the other takes a lil time.
Now if you plan on mostly taking your car to the road coarse, coilovers may be the better choice.
Install on the airride is a little bit more labor intensive, although you seem pretty smart w/the audio so wiring up some switches and routing airlines shouldn't be a problem.
I hope that helps...

I am done with all the sound stuff now as I would actually like to save my hearing before it gets any worse so that I am able to hear my kids later in life, so I will be moving to the performance side as soon as my audio sells. Its really not about what one looks the best. I am in dire need of suspension because my back wheels are already bowing in like it does with an air setup. And the air and coilovers are close to the same price, but youre right that air is a little more expensive. I believe the complete Tien package comes out to $1500. I wont be going to any road course, just mainly street driving. The hardest part of air is running the lines, but it shouldnt be too difficult. And I know if I have any troubles I can ask UAS for help at any time. They have been very helpful so far and I dont even have their kit yet

If you get air.....make sure there aren't any good sized rocks under your car when you drop her down. That's about all I have to say on this, not too much experience with either.
