Aftermarket 5.7 Half Shafts: Would you buy?

And if so, at what maximum price point would you consider doing so. Keep in mind stock replacements tend not to exceed $160ish per side (depending on where you buy they can be had for cheaper).

Lets give our vendors some actual data here and see if there's a market for these things.

I'm thinking, like the smaller 6.1 shafts, these are rated to 600hp

Edit: Oh and I hope its obvious, but please only vote if you have a 5.7 and you have not yet made up your mind to swap out the rear to the SRT setup.

Well I have no intention of installing a SRT pumpkin. So you can count me in here. Also, I may be off base. But we know that the out put shafts are different between the two units. If that is the only difference, couldn't just that one component be manufactured and installed on the existing upgraded SRT half shafts. Just wondering.
From wild to extra wild we got you covered with crap ya never knew you needed.

The first 6.1 transformation and it all went down hill from there.

It seems as though I might need some too.
I don't have a feeling for the ceiling price (I voted for < $1500). Just as inexpensive as I can get will be fine.

I really have no intention of going any higher than 450-500hp, but I still wouldn't trust our stock half shafts at that low of a number. Bring them on.

Though I want a set pretty badly, it doesn't seem that this is going to happen.
