In the last few weeks I had noticed my temp gauge getting a little high. It always has read a Little below half way on the gauge. I don't have the evic so I don't know what temp it was running. It started to read at half way and all of a sudden my AC started blowing hot air at idle. After checking a few things an confirming some checks with Pete (fnkychkn) we determined that both fans just ficking died. Ordered a compete set from rockauto for around 100 bucks. It took me "almost" 10 min to remover and install. I did look at the side seals that have caused a few of these to fail , but mine are fully intact.
Here is the old one. That is sadly taking up space in a dumster now. BTW car has 75k s

lots of magnums hmm

Exactly why I left my fan settings stock in the Diablo. Plus, them things are loud as hell sitting in a drive through when you have em set to come on earlier. Normal driving keeps my temps down with the 180 thermo.

I lost both my fan motors at about46k..it was due to the actual plastic fans cracked at the seams on the blades( funny how both cracked at the same time ) which cause the fan to wedge itself against the fan shroud causing the fans not to turn and this caused the fan motors to burn up being the baldes wouldnt turn. I overheated, and also my a/c started blowing warm air.. I went to the dealership and bought 2 motors one for the left and one for the right paid 118.00 for each motors..they are 2 diffrent part numbers one is for the A/C so make sure you get the correct fan motor, the 2 new fans cost me 24.00 each..I didnt know the fans were bad until I took it all out..was I think 2 screws holding everything in, It took me about 15 minutes to take the whole shroud assembly out..you just have to do a little wiggling to get it out, but pretty simple. Putting it back was pretty much the same..took about a hour to do the complete job..just make sure you put the correct motors on the correct sides.
