    Aaah, that new car smell...

So after trashing my SRT Charger a few years back...I've been missing having some company for my Magnum in the driveway....Yay for a new 08 Charger RT. Good fun. Now the 05 Magnum has a new stablemate. 13 miles on the odo when I drove away from the dealership...most of that was from my test drive. Good fun. Not having the SRT is different for certain, but my gas bill should be a bit lower. I don't need to have THAT much fun in a car that I haul the kids around in....

Naw, it's RWD. Can't see it on the picture, but the edges of the spokes all look like brushed aluminum as opposed to being painted like the rest of the wheel. Nice little touch. First thing I need to do is yank off that chrome grill though and paint it black...Silly chrome looks out of place to me.

Le crie....you're bringing up bad memories...

Needless to say, a rather large and heavy vehicle (fully loaded dump truck) decided that it wanted to play tag with the side of the SRT. Wet roads, him having bald tires, etc etc. Luckily nobody was in the car when it happened (parked on the side of a road). Just one of those freak accidents that happens sometimes. But it was totally destroyed. Broke the spindles off the opposite side of the wreck from hitting the curb. Ripped the drivers seat out basically. Cops said he was probably doing at least 60-70 when he hit it. If I can find some pictures of it on my old computer, I'll post em up. It was anything but pretty. But stuff happens sometimes, what can you do about it.

Yeah man, thankfully. I wouldn't want to think what being in that car woulda been like at the time it was hit.

06 Charger SRT - Smashed into by a semi trailer :(
05 Magnum SXT - Great for hauling the kids around in...but now I want some more stuff on it...
08 Charger RT - 13 miles on it after the test drive
