    30k Sevice Items....?

MSRT8: My car is just tuning over 30k miles. What things should I fix/replace/check, and what items are required to be checked under the manf. warranty and service?

Wish I had $$ to flush.

Power Streering - no service requirement stated.

    Transmission -
    Fluid and Filter Changes
Automatic transmission fluid and filter should be
    changed as follows:
    Maintenance schedule ANo change necessary.

    Maintenance schedule
    B
    Every 60,000 miles (96 000
km) change fluid and filter under the following conditions:

Police, taxi, limousine, commercial type operation, or
trailer towing where the vehicle is driven
    regularly for
more than 45 minutes of continuous operation.
If the transmission is disassembled for any reason, the

fluid and filter should be changed.

I don't care what you think of my car, I like it just fine.

for 30k, you should really just be doing plugs, and checking your PCV valce which should be fine.

Nope, no plug changes needed on an SRT8, either. They have 100K mile Iridium plugs.

You can check your manual, and see which Maintenance schedule you fit into. But, you really don't have to do much with your MSRT8, unless you've really been hard on the car, or want to take extra precautions in a long-life of service. Just check your fluids (level and condition), check the front end over, especially your Tension Rod bushings. Then, look at the accessory belt for cracks, splitting, or excess wear. Do an oil change if needed. Check/change your air filter, cabin filter (if so equipped, SRT Opt Group I), fuel filter and PCV. Also, you can check over your brakes, if attention hasn't been given there before, or it's been a while.
