3.5HO rear diff is 3.64....Hemi Rear Diff is 2.82. U thinkin what i'm thinkin

Why wont the 3.5 Diff work in the Hemi. There the same casing size right?
I assume it wont hold up to the torque but there plenty of v6's with nos and they still hold up.

Maybe Wishin for a hemi can chime in.

Why havent anyone swapped a v6 3.64 diff?

What about the few that have swapped a Hemi into the V6 did they up the diff or are they blowing up?

my 3.5HO has a 2.87 rear gear. it depends on what trans is behind that 3.5.

A big limiting factor is TUNING !!!!!!

The rear will bolt right in from a 5.7 rear. Can the higher ratio 3.5, 2.7 or AWD axle hold the power, we might never know. Unless we can set the rear ratio in HAL our cars will not go with just any ratio.

2.7, 3.5 use the 198 Rear end, as does AWD hemi's.

RWD hemi's use 210 rear ends, 2.82:1. (05-08) standard RWD hemi 09+ use 210 with 2.65:1
SRT's (05-08) use 215 rear ends, 09 challenger RT's, charger daytona's and road and track pack's use 215 rear ends with 3.06

09+ challenger, charger, and 300 SRT's use 226 rear ends with varying gear ratios. 3.06 (auto) or 3.92 stick. challenger RT sticks use 226 rears with 3.73 or 3.92:1 ratios.

Does the 2009 AWD use a 198 rear or a 215. I understand that the AWDs are 3.06:1.

im going off part numbers and paperwork for this. ive seen 2 09 LC's and one 09 LX. theyre just not coming through the dealership yet.

the predator gives the option of tuning for different rear end ratios.

but only for 4 ratios in the hemi's. 2.82, 3.06, 3.23, and 3.55.
i heard the next big update to the U7135 will have more options. nothing direct from diablo though.

I have also thought about these V6 rears too and I dont think that power will be a factor because as it has been said V6ers are throwin NOS, Super and Turbochargers in their 6's with the rears holding up just fine. I guess we just need to find someone with a modified 6 and get the nitty gritty.
