Talking 24's arrived!!! Pics of my CSRT-8, friends $70k CHSRT-8, (UPDATE TIRE PICS!!!)

(UPDATED...TIRE PICS!!! SEE BELOW!!!)Hey everybody!!! Today was a good day. I skipped going to Famoso raceway cuz my buddy Carlos aka Brute SRT had kid plans but it's all good i got my coolang flush/lubricant/fill/additive and my 24's!!! Went by my parents house today and thought i would just share some pics with you all that I have taken seeing as i haven't posted any pics in a long time. I will also explain some of my mods to give u an idea of what direction i'm headin in with my car. All opinions are welcome as they don't bother me one bit.

I'm 22 years young and in love with my SRT! MY taste is MY taste and just because urs is different doesn't mean mine is bad. Besides I like attention and being different! Just wait till people see my dub quattros...just wait......GAME OVER

The time is near! My 24" Dropstar DS03's arrived today! Awesome rim and SIGNIFICANTLY lighter than the U2 35 24's that didn't clear my calipers. They are 24x10 5x115 +18offset with an approx 5" lip and a sporty but professional/classy look I like! The rims were packaged nicely even though they went thru war during shipping. I got a fair price on them considering they retail for $5-6k. For now, i'm waiting for the Pirelli Nero 275/25/24 tires to come in Wednesday and then off to my buddy to get the bolts shaved and possibly roll the fenders, then driving back into town to have American tire mount balance and swap the TPS to the 24's. I'm also buying certs for the tires for road hazards!!!

FYI- I still have my stock rims- toyo proxe 4's 275/40/20's for racing! That's still half the fun! I just seriously can't afford to potentially affect my career with ANY speeding tickets so 24's are not only bada$$ but they seal the deal on my hard turns/stoplight drags/burnouts/etc.......well hopefully to some extant. Ya'll can save the tech talk bout losing performance and potholes and strain on components.....i've talked to multiple people with 300's, charger's, impalas, magnums with 275/25/24 and not one has bent a rim or blown a tire and some have driven 25k+ miles on them!!!

Besides that i've been really HAPPY about my front bumper because i had it repainted and the bumper holes filled and let me tell you all who have the horrible looking holes(had mine for approx 10 months). There is no better feeling than walking out to your car and seeing a SMOOTH CLEAN PERFECT BUMPER with no holes! Possibly my most satisfying purchase yet!

Got my Chrome Grip Grille and people here are going crazy about it! They think it looks soo nice and soo sporty and aggresive. They've never seen it before and out here there are about what seems like 500+ 300's with grilles.... mostly mesh dealer ones. I installed it at work and it wasn't too difficult. I even installed the mesh behind the vents.

Next thursday on goes the Viper 791xv fully loaded alarm with LCD,remote start/kill switch, motion sensor. I have no worries where i live with security but it doesn't hurt to be protected and sleep well at night.

The other mods I currently have are clear side markers w/ amber led's, C-tek pads, GSM fan/torque mod, limo tint all around w/ sunstrip, led license/interior(in the mail) lights, AFE Stage 2 intake, 170 thermostat, Luminics 65w 9005 super white fogs(7+ months NO problems), Luminics 65w 9005 pure blue highs, side SRT8 badges, stripped side mouldings, and like i said before toyo proxes 275/40/20's that are really high performing tires and only costs $160 a piece!

Planned mods are Magnaflow high flow cats, SLP Loudmouth 1 Catback(when they pull their heads out their u know what), ???phenolic spacer??? installing my JL W7 13.5" sub with custom enclosure, 8000k replacment hid bulbs and fog hid conversion 8000k, red led tails as spare to having Jon tint my stock tails to med/dark and HOPING soon for some Billet Technology Emblems and a Diablo tuner....... Work hard to play hard!

Long way down the road....racing goodies....stronger halfshafts.....LT headers....heads/cam/intake.....zex.......drag radials......S/C or Turbo that are damn near unbreakable and harmless to the engine such as kenne bell s/c's.

See racing and pushing my SRT to the limit lives strong in me but has to take a break for a lil while.....

Well hope u all enjoyed reading me talk off of my . Work It! -Paul

Sorry just got off a 96hr shift and haven't washed my car.
    Time for the pics!!!

TIRES ARRIVED ONE DAY EARLY!!! PICS! PICS! PICS!
    22" in a 24" tire

    Rubber band!

    Soft rubber with aggressive tread

    Minimal protection. Maximum coolness!

And the finale...............22" rim next to a 24" tire........WOW!

My friend Nathan here in Lancaster, CA does all the paint and bodywork himself....sponsors do the suspension/audio. He buys cars from auctions, restores them, then sells them.....he'll also put the smack down cuz he's a 8th degree blk belt and teaches. Really nice guy and very SKILLED!
He has a 06 Charger SRT with 20 tv's. 2 in visors, 1 rearview, 1 flipout, 2 per seat(one in front of headrest one in back), 2 in both rear doors, 2 (one on each side of car behind gas cap, 4 flip downs facing away from each other in the center ceiling, 2 in rear bumper,1 behind rear console, and a 37" plasma motorized in trunk!!!
Car also has marble paint, EVERY interior piece suede/marble painted, 6-12" subs, full components, 12 batteries, 58 capacitors, Xbox 360, realistic flames, airbag suspension, lambo doors, 24" one-off rims with spinners, custom one-off bodykit......don't worry he only has 243 miles on it so nobody will ever se it ROLLIN'......SHOWS ONLY

I don't have pics of his Hummer on 30's or restored gt's and camaros......
    That's him in the pic.......

Nice as heck! Sweet Charger, but I would never own a car that I do not drive.

Hey i agree with you with that but to each his own.

$70k.....That's what i ESTIMATE the work value put into the car conservatively. I'm sure the paint, audio, and tv's alone exceeds $20k....who knows?

Your friend's paint is freaking incredible. Not so crazy about the 24" ers though. Your 300 is smoking hot too, that grille is nice.

The paint on that charger is off the hook, but the tv's in the quarter panels is overkill even for a show car IMO. Can't wait to see pics of your wheels installed!
