2006 Daytona for 2007 Magnum SRT - thoughts?

I may be trading my TB Daytona for a 2007 Magnum SRT

My car has 15K miles, Mag has 10K

Dealer is asking $30,000 for the Magnum, and are offering $25,000 in trade for my car. Consider taxes, etc and I'm about $6000 upside down.

My question is, does this sound reasonable?

Should I try to sell my car outright (What would it bring private party?)

I would do it in a heart beat! You won't be sorry. I am so glad I upgraded from my Mag R/T AWD to my MSRT-8. I still pinch myself every day to make sure I'm not dreaming. That deal seems good enough.

you want an 07 magnum srt?

look here, great price, I have no affiliation. If i had another 6 grand, this vehicle would have been mine.

you will have to search their pre owned inventory for it, but its there.. an 07 magnum SRT with 9000 miles, they are asking 26k. EDIT, thats 26k if you finance through them, 27k if you have your own financing...still a great deal.

I'd think of it this way... $6K for 75hp, Brembos, 20's and a one-year newer vehicle.

Do it before someone else does.

    Rival,
Basically your trading a road and track package with a paint job for an SRT. How much more would you have had to shell out for the SRT when you bought the Daytona? Plus it doesn't stand out like a yellow banana when you're going faster then normal ...AND you can put 2X4s in the back without opening your trunk... AND you can pack more in the back when you go to meet and greets...AND you.. oh well you get the picture...I say buy the SRT and enjoy it while you can, you only get one chance at life......PJ.

If I could do a trade for a Magnum SRT8 one year newer than ours with the same mileage for $6000 I would have a hard time saying no....

That looks like an even better deal. Do all the 2007 SRT models come with side airbags, or was that optional?

I'm looking around, and it seems $25k is maybe on the average/low side of private party sales for Daytonas. That seems very reasonable from where I'm standing.
