About LinkBacksWill 17 inch steelies fit on a 06 Magnum R/T would like to get snow tires and 17 inch tires are way cheaper than 18's just not sure if they will clear the brakes?

yep, exactly what I use on my Charger for the track. PLENTY of clearance, no issues.

awe crud...I was VERY mistaken. Just looked at the Drag radials in the trunk...only to find I have 265/40/18 BFG Drag Radials.
D'oh....my bad.
BTW, alot of other guys at the track are running the 17's. I think Torred 1779 and RobAGD are on 17" Wheels....but heck, I could be wrong about that too..... *sigh**No Longer an LX Owner - just a crazy lurker with sign on priveleges

they fit the rear just fine. i'm not sure if the 17" steel rims will fit the front. my 17" aluminum sxt rims will not fit the front of my rt.

I wish they would.
But it doesn't look promising for the fronts (especially for me since I had Wilwood calipers installed).

as far as the front, the steel rims maybe, the aluminum rims NO.
