I am in Chesapeake and would love to drive up to Petersburg

Only problem is if I went there I would leave the Magnum RT home and drive the Supra..

Maybe I can tow the Supra with the Magnum and then run them both.....

I think I can get a 11.5 1/4 mile with the Supra and reallly have been wanting to try

I was suggesting Virginia Motorsports Park in Petersburg as a possible location. I cannot organize this right now, but I can clear time to SHOW up. Dragracing season is almost done, so if that's what we are going to do, we need to do it soon.

Can someone arrange something (not this weekend, I'll be in Ocean City and Delmar, DE racing)? If not racing, some other kind of get together would be fine with me.

Well at Virginia Motorsports Park, this weekend there are a couple of events going on.

Friday night at 5pm, Chesterfield Dodge Street wars
Sat all day, East Coast Truckin Nationals. http://www.virginiamotorsportspk.com..._nationals.htm

It might be difficult to run around the big rigs, jet cars, etc. I don't know if it's impossible. I'd have to call. Seeing the other stuff will be cool though. Friday night will be the best time to race and get time runs, however, it may be crowded. Fun will be had either way.

Everyone decide based on the schedule and this weekend's activities what you'd like to do and I'll follow along.

I will probably be at MIR for the Oct 30 and Nov 7th events. Definately Nov 7th. I've got to be out of town during the week of the Oct 30, but I should be home to go.

This Friday in Petersburgh wouldn't be too bad. I heard that either the 21st or the 22nd is test and tune night. Can anyone confirm this?

There is a possibility for rain during the day Friday. Will have to keep an eye on this, as the evening shows clear.

You will have to call the track to confirm those tune/test dates. I cannot tell FROM the info on their website.

The weather is looking like a morning shower or thunderstorm at the track and clear after lunch and clear in the evening. It will be mid to low 60s. Good drag racing weather.
