NEXT MEET IDEA:
How about a Saturday sail and/or regatta (race) on Catalina 30 Sailboats!
I am also a Member of Aventura Sailing, a Club in Dana Point, CA. We could charter several identical boats, spend some of the day sailing, use the Club lounge for the BBQ, and stay the night?? These boats sleep 6 people confortably, and there are shower facilities once we all dock before hitting the lounge for the evening.
Godwin, these have a helm (steering wheel) and diesel engines, can uo handle that??
There are also affordable Hotels in the Harbor, and a great oppotunity for a Magnum drive about!
Just an idea, sucess breeds more success!

So I dig watercrafts, and more importantly I dig FISHING! It will be a torture for me to go to Catalina and not do some fishing though.

We could troll, but Catalina is a loooooong haul FROM Dana Point in a Catalina 30. Cruising around Dana Point could be fun though...

Actually I was thinking today....we are all doing mods left and right....why not organize a dyno day? We used to do this with the impala club and it went over well. Not quite as nice and relaxing as elsinore was but we'd all dyno our cars all morning at this place in upland and then caravan out to the speed zone in Industry and drive the cars and dragsters....any interest in this?

And Magnum8r...hats off to you my man. The effort you put forth bringing us all out was awesome....showed your true love for the car and the people it brings.
