Dang... it dwindling down to those of us that are N/A... and we are already at a disadvantage as it has been pointed by weight.

Now that you all have pointed out some of the rules... looking more closely we will not be able to take the Twin Turbo as well.

Yes it is. Make the rest of the class add ballist (illegal) to compete with us and call it a day.

    1.15 BLOCK
BLOCK: Engine block is restricted to an accepted type, cast iron block with OEM design & factory bore spacing.

Okay does this knock us strokers out as well ?

Jeff, any idea what cars in the heads up classes were running at previous events? I haven't had much luck finding the results of previous HOTROD Drag events similar to the one coming up.

Can we get clarification on the use of certain supercharger types such as the NOVI 1500 and F1R Pro Charger? Were these intentional omissions or just a representative listing of the families of superchargers that will be allowed?

On the weight issue, my question was orientated towards whether or not a second power adder would be allowed on vehicles over a certain weight threshold....say like 4000lb and up etc?

James, in my experience the rule is typically meant to ensure folks with aftermarket blocks are still based on the same basic OEM design/geometries to avoid unfair advantages.

Strokers using the factory block do not violate the rule.

So I guess some folks that were planning on going to the Zmax will be coming to the Shindig instead... myself included.
