    2013 SRT Viper Release @ The New York International Auto Show

    I'M GOING TO BE THERE!!

    Just got the word today, I cant believe it! It's such an honor. I'll be going as the Ambassador of the Magnum Nation (I made that up, has a nice ring to it right?) But really, let's just say I wasn't just chosen for my good looks alone

    There are A LOT of people on this forum, most may not know me, so here's a quick introduction. My name is Nolan, and I drive a 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT8 (soon to have a 440). I'm a diehard Magnum guy, wanted one since I first saw a commercial for them when I was 14. Once my car is finished I plan on making it to more races/events and meeting all of you!

    ANYways, back to the main story, the release of the 2013 SRT VIPER.

    Here's some of my itinerary:

    Arrive Tuesday, April 3, 2012
    Guests arrive LaGuardia airport; transport to Holiday Inn Soho
    Eat some dinner

    Wednesday, April 4, 2012
    Sometime in the afternoon : SRT Viper is revealed.
    Later on: Subject matter expert 15-minute round-table sessions begin. Guests learn the backstory behind SRT Viper’s awe-inspiring powertrain, aggressive and functional exterior, race-inspired and high-performance interior, benchmark braking and outstanding ride, handling and capability.
    Last but certainly not least: Viper Gala!!

    Thursday, April 5, 2012:
    Departure!

    I'm so excited I will update this with any new info/pics as it gets closer and once I'm there!!

    I gotta say, I think its awesome that SRT still pays attention to the Magnum community even though they don't even make them anymore! I wonder if I'll meet any Viper AND Mag owners at the gala haha

    Judging by the shifter/seat, I surely hope it isnt too Fiat-y...thought it was a spy shot of the Abarth for a minute.
