I saw NT05's on that Charger. How are people comparing those to the Vredesteins and the Invos?
There is a thread about them on the forum somewhere, my dad said they felt real good though.
Joe
Hopefully someone has tracked both? The Invos (compared to the Vreds) seem to be a bit soft on turn in. I was mainly wondering (among other things) about that comparison with the NT05's and the Vreds.
Looks like everyone had a blast. Sorry I couldn't take off work and at least watch the fun live. Maybe next time.

So I checked my odometer. I had not reset this trip so this is my actual trip millage. I figgure I had about 150-160 miles on the track. Ron had about 150 and I was a little faster, but who really knows how much I ran. We had a black flag on Cs first run and I was meatballed for loose underbody plastic on my fourth run.

Great f'n pics guys! Was an absolute blast hanging with you all.
Dan. . .can't thank you enough. Your's and Rob's efforts are greatly appreciated. Vendors were great and the facility was amazing. Almost makes me want to become a member there . . .oh wait. . .what are the fees again . . LOL?
Doug . . you rule. . tks for the accomodations!
The instructors were such a great addition. I thought I somewhat knew what I was doing going into this and would have quickly started developing bad habits on the track if Rick hadn't been there. His best quote of the day to me when he saw my nitrous buttons. . . "The traction control stays on and the nitrous stays off".

I think the best nugget of info i got from my instructor was drive your line, don't follow the guy in front of you. You cant be sure if hes driving the perfect line or if hes going to go straight off the track. I found myself driving behind a lot of people who were off line and i also saw at least one car go careening off the track in my rear view mirror after trying to follow my line.
Just concentrate on Turn in, Apex, unwind.
I only got in 55 miles on the track :(

I went off track on my 3rd turn, lol
tires were not warmed up and rear started to come around, rather than fight to save it i just carried it off track and out of the way. Figured i'd get that out of the way early in the day. lol
After that i had a good day, got black flagged for passing in wrong place a couple times, but was uneventful other than that.
This event was very good, Dan and Rob did an outstanding job, though we had a number of loose ends on our end, it was a good learning process for us, for next time......lol
anyone have the go pro videos up

I think there were about 5-6 of "us" that went for a little ... ummm... "detour".
During my first session, I had passed someone before the bridge and had the whole track in front of me to myself for a bit. I came out of the esses fairly hot and didn't get the right line into the apex at 6 (?). I came up over the hill and grass was in front of me and the track was off to the right! oops. Instead of trying to fight it and really screw up, I made a "controlled exit" straight off, then waited for the "clear" signal (more like the "RUN YOU FOOL RRRUUUNNN" signal!) and got back on track. Had things checked out in pit road and all was good.
FANTASTIC day, had a GREAT time!! AND I got about 11 mpg on the track! LOL TTMR and I got about 28 mpg on the long drive there n' back again. I was simply amazed when I figured out I had run 150 miles ON TRACK Monday! That's a LOT of track-time!
I'll have 2 GoPro video's to get posted this week... I forgot to get them to Pete, so I'll get in touch with him and send him a DVD.
