If you want to see a video that will rally give you a better understanding of the track, and MPH's check this out.
Ah, it won't embed, click the link: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/A...sey_171751.htm

1984 Porsche 911, shows RPM, MPH, braking, throttle and overview of track and where he is at. This should help put some perspective on things.

And no driving like the blue car: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/C...cuit_77013.htm

I have been trying to work a deal for a GB on tires, and with sooo many differnt needs and wants that didn't happen.

Travis at Discount Tire was nice enough to send along some gift Certs for some discounts on some skins and or wheel packages.

So if you kill a set, at least when you get home you will get some saving on new rubber.

I'm assuming our paddock space will be okay. When we ran at Mid Ohio last year, there were $million+ race-rigs sitting there with all their doors open. Everybody pretty much keeps an eye on everyone else's stuff at these events.

Plus, the paddock areas are pretty much closed to the general public, we're not going to have a whole lot of spectators for this, I don't think.

I don't know if just a little of the interior foam could be shaved down to relieve pressure points... I'm going to check on that.
Ya, got mine in today too and it's a bit on the snug side. Maybe I can find someone with a smaller head and have them buy an XXL and trade em.

Yea Jim, I would have been on him after he hit my car the first time.

The paddoc should be fine, we shoudl be the only people in that one. There is a chance there will be something going on the Tunderbolt track but I doubt it.

Ok I remember reading somewhere about bringing a pop-up canopy or tent? What was it? I have a small pop-up tent (4x6) I used when I went wheeling to store my tools and stuff in. Was this suggested or was it those big 10x12 ez-up canopy things that was suggested?
