Just me, making my big intro here at DMN. Please excuse the lack of typing I do so much of it otherwise I have learned to abreviate quite well. My only hope is you can read what I abreviate. None the less I an not the proud owner of an RT but rather the proud owner of an SXT and allthough it don't have a Hemi I can still say Hemi.
Can you say Hemi? well sure you can. My future car is the RT with all the features. If your salesman tries to sell you whats on the lot and you dont know you can ORDER what you want, hey you can. Don't listen to the salesment they lie to ya.

DMAN I appreciate the ego boost I know my SXT is still the shiznit even if it doesn't have the gas guzzling Hemi.

I still can blow the doors off a Stang, not that I have tried it or anything...lol

ctt, I love mine. Maybe we should compare interiors and or dreams for future mods to our twin red Hurst's.

MagnumFreak sorry about my personal comments of salesmen and their lies. Maybe your a salesman, believe me unless your named Rocco I doubt I was talking about you....lol I just know this is the very 1st new car I have ever owned, let alone the 1st one ever purchased through a dealership. See my other vehicle is also a Dodge (3500 Ram Dually Pickup) and I happen to have it serviced where I bought my Magnum, however I did ask for features I was told sorry we don't have yet I later found out they did have, I could have ordered what I wanted and probably even saved. Now I am paying for items I don't care for, need or may never even use, like Cruise Control which is in such an unusual place I couldn't use it if I wanted to. Just my experience, not saying all salesman lie, however tics me off to find out my own nephew sells Magnums and could have gotten me an awesome deal, much better than the one I got, and I could have ordered exactly as I wanted it.

I am only sad I leased it cause like Navy man there I don't make enough to be able to afford the monthly payment on even the SXT to own it. The lease is not bad only set back is not being able to trick it out, beef it up and bling it like nothing has ever been blinged before. Things I could have ordered and purchased with the dealer I now find will void my warranty if I have it done.

I do love my ride though, and can see how someone can easily become addicted to the stares and oohs and awes, however I need a tag that says no it's not a Hemi cause everyone asks me??? I mean cant they tell it doesn't say it on the side, is not an RT and for gosh sakes it is a single exhaust. Still don't lean against it cause I do bite, darn I love my ride! :twisted:

Well, we can start out by putting on some K&N Air Filters and a MagnaFlow exhaust. That should boost the bhp up about 15 maybe. And yes, the SXT is fast, isn't it? I push the pedal down and that v-6 gets up to 7000 rpm and sounds like a big throaty V-8 and I can say buh-bye to that little rice burner Subaru WRX on the freeway like I did two months ago...

From what I know, you DO have a HEMI!!! Same engine that was in my Intrepid RT.
So, with a little more research, I believe that the 3.5 Magnum engine IS a HEMI.
I sure love my Rt with the 5.7!! Getting just a few less MPG than my Intrepid did, but I drive this a lot harder (mid life crisis?)
