Sure wish I had a Magnum

Hello all... I'm new. I've browsed this place for a while but I finally got around to joining. I don't own a Magnum, but once I get on my feet financially, I'm going to hopefully get an R/T. I have a 2002 Stratus Sedan ES right now with ~67000 miles on it but plan on keeping it around when I (wishful thinking) get my R/T. I live near Seattle, WA. I'm 25, got a wife and kid who is 9mo old at this point, and I am apprenticing to be an electrician.

Well, that's me... You probably won't see me posting a ton since I don't have my Magnum yet, but I'll be around every now and then.

Is this the same Bart FROM DI.Net? That one that did the blue LED cluster conversion? If so, I used to be Intrepidatious, we exchangted LEDs about 3 or four years ago.

If not, disregard and welcome to the board!

Hey welcome! I think you said in another post that you did a custom HID coversion on your Stratus. Is that true? If so how did you go about it? That is one thing I would love to have on my magnum...

I think he's also FROM Stratusphere, because I know I saw his lights before, they look killer!

    Welcome to the site BTW.

Hey! Yeah, it's me. I heard someone call you Anthony so I wondered if it was you. So you have a Magnum now? I remember the dash LEDs... I hope those worked out for you because I went a totally different approach in my Stratus. They're brighter and way more evenly lit now that I used some different LEDs. Well, not that it matters now, you don't have the trep anymore

I'm FROM 2gss.org for the Stratus Sedans. I think Stratusphere covers all cloud cars, but I don't frequent there very much. I know that there are aftermarket projector headlights for the coupe so maybe that's where you saw them? tvago FROM 2gss.org may go on stratsphere and he did the HID retrofit first. That's where I got the idea from.

Yeah, in the HID bashing thread . I took apart my headlight assemblies using the oven @ 200 degrees. I took out the headlight reflector assembly inside. It's attatched by one pivot anchor and two adjustable (aiming) anchors. The HID projectors FROM www.hidtech.com that I bought don't match up (of course) so I "fabricated" a metal bracket for each headlight FROM those metal strips that cover the expansion slots on the back of a PC case. It took a whole weekend but it's well worth it.

The projectors I have are 6" long, 4.25" wide, and 3.75" high so the headlamp has to be relatively deep. I've never seen a Magnum headlight up close so I don't know how deep they are. Also, I don't know if the high and low beam reflectors are attatched or if they can be aimed independently. If independent, you could still use your existing high beams.

Anyways, sorry for making this kinda off topic! Thanks for the welcoming
