About LinkBacksHas anyone else had a problem with the radio changing stations by itself. I have made sure that I did not change via the steering wheel controls. Just started happening. Happens on AM/FM, any station. Any idea before I try the dealership - thanks

, now I dont recall anyone ever posting about this problem so it could be an isolated issue with your unit. Others should chim in shortly. Sounds more like a scan button stuck or something of that nature. Have you spilled anthing on the controls?

Make sure you haven't got the censorship set too high in the EVIC, so the radio doesn't acknowledge questionable content, that it thinks you shouldn't be listening to, and switches the station.

I think this is a "special" option on some of the 06 models...the Gremlin option?

Welcome from Minnesota! Could even be a problem with the steering wheel buttons. Had trouble with mine at about two weeks after puchase. Dealer said it was a module for the EVIC. Started off something simple like you are describing then in a short period (couple trips to work) more things quit (turn signals wouldn't work, couldn't change display). Take it in.

Mine doesn't change stations, but every now and then when I start it up it will end up on satellite no matter where I left it when I turned it off.
When this happens the volume won't turn up (only down) and the station won't change. Turning it off and on doesn't fix it.
The fix is in changing the input mode (am/fm, cd, sat) and then it's back to operating normal and I can then turn the volume back up and change stations.
