    Oregon Newbie

    Hi all, After lurking for a few months I thought it best to join and introduce myself. How I got here- Last September (08) my wife decided she was tired of her Pacifica and really liked the Charger. So off to the dealer we go. I really had not done any homework at this point. She is a very particular person and whatever we get, it MUST be the right color, options, etc. We we find one she likes, but the dealer apparently still had'nt caught up with the rest of the world because they would not deal (it was just an SE?) So I walk. Then I start to do my homework. After must consternation, I decide that for the first time in my life I am going to get what I really want.... an SRT So I put the word out to my dealer friends and in October I get the call. But it is black, a color my wife said she didn't want. I totally forgot about the car for a few days, even though the dealer didn't. Anyway, I just happen to mention at dinner one evening that a local dealer had an SRT but it is black. Much to my surprise, she says, let's go look at it. The next day I am a proud owner of the coolest car I have ever owned Because I drive a company truck, the wife gets to drive it most of the time but her commute is only about a mile and a half (yeah yeah, a lot of overkill, but it is sooo cool). Rest assured, I get control all other times and she does get to stretch her legs when I am behind the wheel.

    Interestingly enough, I have not taken a picture of this black beauty yet and the weather in the NW has not been good for about the last three weeks and she has been garaged (no way this car will see snow). But as soon as it clears up enough to get her cleaned and outside for a Pic, I'll post it up. Thanks for the welcome!

    Welcome from just south of Centralia, WA. Yes we awoke to snow and after 5AM it froze so I am waiting for it to thaw a little so my husband can take me to work in his pick up. Looking forward to see all our new members at a meet next year!

    Yes, I had about 2 inches at the house in Gresham. It wasn't until I watched the news before turning I last night did I hear anything about snow and WHAM! 2 inches.

    Welcome from Gresham also. I drive a black 300 SRT8. You may have seen it around. The snow was definitely a surprise. It started coming down at about 1:15 am.
