    Newbie Magnum owner.

    Hello everybody. This site has a lot of info.

    I am searching for the right Magnum at this time. It will be a Hemi for sure.

    3 quick questons. Are the diff"s in the hemi cars limited slip? Can all wheel drive be turned off? Is the all wheel drive reliable? Or even desirable?

    Welcome! Where ya from? To answer your ?'s...

    1) Nope. Only Quaife makes an LSD for them right now.
    2) Nope. It's all mechanical.
    3) Reliable by all accounts, but as far as desirable, my RWD RT and my SRT (when stock) both did fine in Chicago winter weather.

    Welcome from Maine! The Mercedes type traction control works very well in these cars, normally 2 wheel burnouts are possible and winter driving is very good even with the rear wheel drive. Just use snow tires and put a couple sand bags under the luggage tray. I recently pulled a Subaru wagon out of a ditch with my RT.

    I am searching on line sources for the right car. I have bid on several ebay cars. Won the bid but didn't meet the reserve on three of them.
    I'm looking for Red Metallic ,Hemi,6.1 or 5.7. Any amount of options are fine but, the basic RT will work. I am in Toledo,Oh so I don't really want to go to Ca. to bring one home. 500 mi is cool.
    I have a great Gr. Cherokee so the Maggie will not be a daily driver. I am taking my time looking and want to keep the cost down below 12-k They are out there. There is a dealer in Wisc. that has three 07's under 30-k mi. for 12,500$ But they are not met.red.
    Any leads?
