New Member & Potential Charger R/T Owner

We're all car nuts here..just a little leaning towards Mopar than any other brand, but I think almost everyone has owned something other than Mopar at one time or another!!!

Yea, We just got back from the Dealer in Leesburg, VA My wife wanted to test drive the Charger R/T and the Avenger R/T, She Totally Likes the Charger over the Avenger. The charger R/T had more room, nicer interior, and more power, although she liked the Cup Warmer / Cooler in the Avenger.

I think were set on the charger, just need a good price, and she likes the Steel Blue Metalic, We also test drove the STX but it did not have enough power for her. haha and the R/T Did not have enough power for me, The sales theman said he would give us a great deal on two, one SRT and on RT. after we seen the price of the SRT umm no. to swing that we would need to buy both used..

My Wife is a Special Education School Teacher and they pay fry cooks at McDonalds more than Teachers LOL Messed up.

Already got permission from the ol'lady..

She whats, Intake, Chip and Exhaust. (I want to do Heads and Cam)
I Love Modding cars always have. I built the AMX Race Car
and just loved it. When it came down to Raising the Kids (3) and Family
my passons to a back seat to them. so now that the kids are grown... I brought the passon to the passenger seat. and My wife is helping me.
because she likes it to.

Well - hello to this forum as well, but I am extremely disappointed with your first post.

There was ONE person who made a comment along the lines that you claim, as I remember it. This was followed by more than one other member countering that statement and welcoming you to the site and telling you that you were more than welcome - no matter what you drove!!! I see no reason for a rant about an entire set of forums due to one member, when several others tried to make you feel welcome.

You even PM'd me about the 'J' issue and I tried to briefly fill you in as to the fact that there was more than meets the eye WRT the 'events' that went on a couple of days ago. I believe that I was extremely polite to you and was in no was stirring anything.

I am pretty annoyed (TBH) that the next thing you did was to come to this site and use your 'hello' post to slag off the other site - which is known to this one..... As it has been made pretty clear which site the other was from at least one of the replies in this thread (well - clear to some) I did not feel that coming here and defending the other site was 'bad' (plus the fact that you yourself mentioned the 'J' word).

Many thanks for taking the time to get to know others on the site before popping over here and throwing the mud. I am impressed that you can get an accurate opinion on an entire set of forums and it's members in such a short time!

I am still (for the life of me) trying to work out what purpose this rant actually had WRT joining this forum.........

If I were to join another site and feel that it was necessary to report all the other forums where I had had somebody be rude to me, my post would be 20 pages long.......

Hopefully the admin here will understand the point I am making and get rid of this uneccesary thread and allow you to try another introduction where you don't try and stir the ****...... Threads like this are really not needed and are in no way helpful...

....although I suspect that I know what is going to happen when the Admin reads this reply....

anyways, here is the funny thing, Jweezy, is a good guy, its just his temper gets the best of him and his im better than you attitude, trust me, ive seen it, not saying with him, but I know

and again, dont come here or to the other forum not expecting some flack for owning a Ford Mustang, a MUSTANG of all the cars you could own and come to a Charger site LoL

anyways welcome to the great madness of LX platforms and yes, I talk crap about fords, but I appreciate performance also!

I wasn't going to chime in on this over here, but I did take the time to read ALL THE THREADS you were involved in over at the 'other' forum. Yes, all of them. I came across ONE post where someone asked what you were doing on the forum, and even then within 2-3 posts everything was squared off nice and friendly.

One post. From the thousands of members.

Both of these boards (lxforums and the 'other one') welcomed me with open arms when I joined, which was a LONG time before I took the plunge with my Charger (probably 6-7 months, if I recall?). Did I ever have a disagreement with a board member? Sure, and hopefully the healthy debates that ensued made us all more knowledgeable in the end. Are any of us going to sell our Chargers in disgust over it? I think not.

I have no financial or emotional involvement in either of these fine boards so I ultimately don't really care which forum you choose to frequent. As an equal participant on this excellent site, I feel it would be fair to set the record straight.

Hope it works out for you getting your LX vehicle soon. I know it was and continues to be one of the best automotive purchases I have ever undertaken. (and for the first time in many many years, I am completely 100% satisfied with ALL the cars I own, the Charger having completed this blissful collection).

Well I did not want to go into a couple of PM comments that I received, ArFur I appreciated the PM about "J" but as I said over there I formed my opinion of a person from meeting them in person. I know there is some bad blood going on and some of it was provoked. 99% of the people over at the other forum are top notch people. I am sorry that a couple of bad apples spoiled it for me. I also received some PM inviting me to come over here to this forum, because the people are better.

I did not expect it, Over at the Mustang forums we have MODs that do not own mustangs. and we accept all

Anyway I am sorry I put it that way, I should have said a couple of members were not happy I was there. One questioned it and two PM it so I did not mean to say the whole groups was bad..

Both Arfur and 3TA were very informative posters and I enjoyed our conversations. I am sorry I mentioned it.
