New Member & Potential Charger R/T Owner

    Well, To start off...
I am From Northern Virginia, I am 44 years old and LOVE American Cars, Mainly Muscle Cars.
I was snubbed at another "Dodge Charger Forum" I guess it was because I do not own a charger. Yet. I was told by a couple of members over there to check out the LX Forums because you are nicer.

I was not a trouble maker or a troll over there, I asked legitimate questions about the charger, I never said any thing bad. I am seriously looking to buy one. they just ignored me and would post things like "who is this guy, should'nt he be over at Stang forums"

Why can't I be here, I am a Car Nut too, I Love the Charger, and Mustang, I want to own both because I love these cars. I don't bleed blue or wear bow ties and I am not pounding the pavement spouting "Mopar power" I Like what I like and I will buy I what I like. I like the New Mustangs and the New chargers.

Sorry for the Rant...I own the following:
2000 Chevy Silverado Z71 4X4 Off Road Extended Cab 4 Door
    2004 Chrysler 300M
    2005 Mustang GT
1970 Dodge Challenger T/A (In Restore but Owned since 1981)

I hope to trade the 300M on a Charger (would be wifes car) She loves power, She Races Ricers and V6 Cars with her 300M and wins. The 300 has the 4 Speed "slap stick" shifter and she is an expert with that thing.

My Silverado is our weekend work truck, and Winter Driver...

My Mustang is my toy, I have not owned a Ford Car before so this was a first for me. I must say I was impressed, Ford did do a nice job on the new mustangs.
I have owned a 1986 Corvette, 1971 Trans Am, 1969 AMC Javlin Drag Car, 1981 AMC Concord, 1995 Ford Ranger STX,

I am not really new to the Muscle Car, I am returning to it.
I used to race semi pro in the early 80's, I was a Super Stock Leader at Gator Nationals in Gainsville Florida in 1983. I had a 1969 AMX Javelin Drag car with a 390ci, Heads Ported & Polished w/Oversize Valves, balanced & blue printed, 4-barrel carb, T-10 4-speed manual tranny. shortened axle and reworked wheel wells for Drag Slicks.

Here are a couple of pics of my Mustang.

Thanks.. when I got the car I was only into car shows, but the Drag Racing Bug Bit Me again... I don't plan on going overboard with it.
I would like to get headers, aluminum DS, and some handling mods and maybe a Supercharger. again the car is mostly a show car and semi Daily Driver.

you can see some of my races on the videos at the botom of my sig...

Thanks guys.. I hope I can learn as much here as I did in the mustang forums.
I love American performace Cars, and I absolutly Love the new Mustangs and Chargers, I am liking what I see in the future Challanger
I may have to buy one of those someday, and the Camaro is growing on me, but I need to see the final product.
