EDIT: PICS ADDED!!
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself to you guys. Last April I bought a 2005 Magnum RT in Cool Vanilla (as I'm sure you've already guessed). Took me a long time to settle on the Magnum and I did so for a number of reasons. The last few years I've been driving around in Subarus, but not the typical WRX or STi. I had a Pearl 2005 Legacy GT turbo sedan and then an Atlantic Blue 2005 Legacy GT turbo wagon. They were both 13 second cars with all the comforts of a luxury car and I loved both of them. The wagon was imported to Quebec to a lawyer and I got a LOT of money for it. The one I had was one of 99 ever made in that config. Once I sold it, I wanted to get another wagon, so I started to make a list of wagons that I liked. Near the top of the list was a HEMI Magnum, but in the mix was a 2002 Audi S6 Avant with the 340HP 4.2L V8, a 2005 Audi Allroad 4.2, a BMW 540it wagon, a 2005 Volvo V70R AWD 6-speed wagon ( the autos are sooo slow) and on the stupid side for price, a 2005 Mercedes E55 AMG wagon with the 5.5L 469HP Kompressor V8. I drove all of them except the E55, which I couldn't find and wouldn't have been able to afford anyway. I ended up with the Magnum because it had enough power for me (most important), although it definitely doesn't respond like the Subaru did, it has enormous amounts of room in it, especially in the front, which is very important to me as I am 6'2 and 260. It had all the options except the tow package and rear DVD entertainment, including the Uconnect, Nav, dual climate zones and heated seats. It had only 21K miles on it and was a 1 owner so I got the 7/70 warranty transferred. Lastly, it just looks absolutely wicked and drives down the road like a Cadillac, all for 18 grand, which last April seemed like a great deal. It looks like everyone is taking a big hit in values these days though. So anyhow, for anyone that reads this book I've wrote, my name is Dorian Libal. I'm a Commercial Electrician in Oregon. And I Love my Cool Vanilla HEMI Magnum. The only mod I have done is a K&N Type 57 Cold-air intake. Sounds so good....
