    My First MOPAR

Up to now I have had nothing but Pontiacs and Chevys. 11 GM cars in total over 16 years. In fact I was the founder and Chairman for 5 years of a very impressive car club devoted to the GM J-Body line of cars.

I first saw the car of my desires on a commercial that showed a Magnum racing along a secondary highway and passing a sports car while it was loaded with a ladder or wood or something. I instantly fell in LOVE. ( If anyone can direct me to a link of the commercial please send it to me)

Then this week I went and picked it up. I took back my GM 4dr Cavalier Z24 that I had on lease and bought my 05 Magnum SXT.

this is her. And my Mopar buddies back home couldnt be any prouder of me. lol

    Proud to be here.

Sometimes it's hard to switch -- in this case it wasn't! (Speaking for myself, of course). These cars are WINNERS!!

    thanks everyone for the welcome.

so far this week I have not had a chance to get out of the magnum. I just cant stop driving it. It even feels better then my fully modded out Z24. Which I never thought I would get tired of.

    MOPAR or NO CAR!

Welcome to the forum. Newbie myself. I think you'll be much happier with what Dailer Chrysler has to offer than General Motors.

    Nice color also.

My first Mopar was a 1963 Plymouth Savoy 2dr with the 426 MaxWedge engine and push button auto trans, what a beast!

In the 60's and 70's, I owned a lot of different Mopars....great to be born in the right decade.

I like Chevy's, but they don't build anything I want to own.

Loving my 05' Dodge Magnum RT.............with Flashpaq.

    Bob
Bob in Ocala, Florida (a 73 year old guy who loves cars), 05' Magnum RT. Many mod's, all of Danko Products and a few from 402 Motoring.
Have owned my share of 12 & 13 second cars, am happy now with my stock RT.
