    Moving up from an Intrepid

Lifetime Mopar guy here, just replaced my 99 Intrepid ES with a 2012 Charger SE, 8spd, BT, Sat, sport appearance package. I like the 3.6 and 8spd so far, but do wish I had the sport mode on the trans, is there a s/w hack to get that without the paddle shifters? Went with the SE for the great price point and because I didn't really need the hemi, I have an EFI, twin turbo 383 in my 70 Sport Fury.

Welcome. I still have my '99 Intrepid ES (bought it new in March 1999) in addition to the 300.

Enjoy the Charger. Looks great and that 8 speed sounds like the ticket.

Welcome from Ottawa. Excellent upgrade you have. I had a 94 Intrepid when new. Turned heads with that one!

Welcome to the forums. No Intrepid here, but I do have a 2003 Concorde, 2003 Hemi Ram QC and of course the 10 Charger SXT Plus.

Your in good hands here. Take a moment of your time and look thru the knowledge base.
Not much yet for the new gen cars. But there are some Easter Eggs for you there.

whoops, didn't get email notifications on this one, sorry. I will say the 300m seats in my old intrepid ES were more comfortable than the SE seats in the charger, I guess that's to be expected moving from the top of the line to the base model.
