Hi!
Signed up a while ago, just getting around to making my first post now. Ordered my Top Banana as soon as they were taking orders for them and about 6 months later 'Tweety' was born. I've added hood struts, Mopar CAI intake, Mopar STSB, and a Beep Beep horn from the 70's.
I've found the knowledge base helpfull and at some point will be doing some upgrades to my NAV so I can install a backup camera and get rid of the annoying NAV start-up prompt and in-motion restrictions.
And while I'm at it...Merry Christmas!

That's my voice of the road runner 'Beep Beep' horn button! I love my Charger but one thing I never liked was the horn. You can't just tap it, you have to lean on it. I didn't want to cut any wires or drill any holes so I built this little add-on setup so I could give a friendly little beep. It's actually a genuine Mopar superbird horn...gotta swap that for a repro someday, feel guilty about using it for a non-original purpose.
Lots of Long Islanders..cool! Bodes well for a meet at some point...Thanks for the warm welcome!

Lol, I'm a little slow! I first joined up to see if anyone had the scoop on what color Daytona's were due out next. I wanted a Lime one but at the time I wasn't sure they would ever make it. Once I committed to Top Banana I kinda faded away 'cause I didn't really want to go too crazy with mods on her - after all it's really pretty good right out of the box. I love that car and wouldn't trade it for anything but I might have to pick up a lime one somewhere down the road...
My daily driver is a 92 cutlass (and a 94 vert, and a 96) and it (they) needs more work than my Daytona ever will, so I've spent a lot of time on the W-Body forum. I do have plans of building up a 41 Chrysler convertible using a totaled Mango Daytona (from Cleveland Pick a Part - love those guys!) so I'm back trying to learn a little more about what makes these cars tick and if I can re-arrange it to fit in my '41. No actual progress on this yet, got a few other projects to finish first.
But, now that I'm back and reading up on all I've missed it's kind-of got me thinking about tweaking a few things on my car - like the NAV upgrades and the ESP kill switch.
Oh yeah, I'm in Garden City but I spend an occasional weekend out East in Peconic. And i'm gonna have to meet up with GotMe-N-R/T to check out that junk yard you got out there! They get any LX's or 88-96 cutlass's?
