The car has never been driven in the winter, always stored and covered in a garage and has approximately 22k miles. After doing about 3 months of price and vehicle research, I was able to get this car on an Ebay auction for a total of $17,900(US). It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but that's not what I wanted to buy the car for anyways.
It's pretty much a done deal (bought sight unseen), but are there some major issues I should be wary of? I can walk away if there the car is not as described or I detect some severe abuse. As I mentioned earlier, I'm not a car expert by any stretch of the imagination. So, other then doing the basics of checking for leaking fluids, excessive brake wear, uneven tire wear(backs are bald, fronts are good) etc., what could be some tell tale signs for the mechanical soundness?
