    Smile Hello from San Diego!

Howdy everyone! I am here in San Diego, where my wife and I purchased our '06 Charger R/T last July. This is our first Dodge, as we have always been Ford loyalists. That is how we met in 1999, my wife was in a Mustang club and I owned a Mustang too. Now, we have 2 beautiful children after 5 1/2 years of marriage. The need for a 4 door sedan set in quickly! lol. we still have one of our 2004 F150 4X4's (4door), as well as a few other go fast toys. My Harley Davidson F150 has been built to the hilt by a local friend, and now it runs 7.90 @ 90mph in 1/8 mile. Not bad for a 4 door truck, full weight 5,885#'s. Oh, I didn't mention that I am a performance junkie and love to drag race locally. Use to go to Carlsbad Raceway, but now Barano Drag Strip is it. Needless to say, this is what inspired my interest in the new DC products: Charger, Magnum, 300C. I love em! I couldn't fit headroom wise in the Magnum, which was our first choice in test drives. The Charger sold soon after that. I am already on the mod bandwagon with the purchase of Superchips programmer and looking for a CAI.
I will gaurantee one thing for sure: I will own an SRT8 in next 2-3 months! I already have the wife convinced and will sacrifice the Lightning f150. This car to me has the best of both worlds: Performance and Purpose (4 door sedan). I hope to meet some of you local guys here in SoCal. Take care and see ya soon!

Welcome Blown4dr from our 300C in WV! Congrats on the family and that it "moved" you to consider something other than the Fords. As you already know you'll not be disappointed... and it'll teach those kids something in the long run as well!
Still in love with my first wife, and first car ('68 Charger)... Still have the wife!

ALLLRRRIIIGGGHHHTTTTT another San Diego LX'er. I also must ask about the Magnum Headroom. I'm 6'3 and I fit just fine in my MAG. HEHEHEHE there's a couple of us LX'ers here in San Diego (rps232 and myself) who get together on the beaches of IB and chill out, if youre interested let myself or rps232 know. Also welcome to the LX Family.....Hope to see you and that Charger in the San Diego Caravan to the March 25th event. I know I will be in it.

Wow! What a great crowd of enthusiasts. In response to my size or height, well sorry to dissappoint but I am only 6'2". I really was uncomfortable sitting up straight in driver's seat while testing the Magnum. The salesman wasn't much help with my questions on seat adjustment either. Anyhow, this site has already been very helpful in many ways for me soo far. Thanks everyone!
