Hey all! I'm just a Newbie "checking in" with my 05 Magnum R/T that I found at auction out in PA. I should have it by Nov. 29th and am looking forward to making it a little less 'stock' with a few cosmetic and audible (exhaust) changes. So I'm here to bond with other enthusiasts find out what others have done and get some good info on what-to-do's and what-NOT-to-do's.
My History:
I'm not loyal to any one make or model. I appreciate all vehicles with engines and tires. I have been a import owner, a muscle car owner, a truck owner, a motorcycle owner snomobile owner and now a soon-to-be Magnum owner... and I'm only 34.
My first car was a 63 Nova SS from Torrington Wyoming. My dad who lives in western Nebraska bought it for me when I was 15 and we worked on it together over the summer months of my 15th year so that when I turned 16, I could drive that 6-cyl, 1bbl, 2-speed automatic car 700 miles back home to MN. I drove that car for 7 years before selling it, vowing to someday, buy another one. After that I've owned Pontiac, Chevy x4, Cadillac, Nissan x3, GMC, Mitsubishi (vr4-fastest of the bunch), Eagle, Dodge, Honda x2 and last summer, I bought that 63 Nova SS I vowed to get. Now next week, I'll be trading in my truck for my Magnum.
I hope the Magnum will be as reliable and enjoyable as my Dakota QC has been and I hope to drive it longer than all 13 of my other previous cars, and 2 motorcycles.
See you all online, on the streets and at the shows!!
