Hello Magnums, What a first week I've had

Hello LX, ITS been a rough week so here's my rant, I wanted to make a splash, but I'm a little long winded ( OK ALOT Longwinded) so happy reading. I hope you make it to the bottom.

Just bought My first RT, My very own HEMI, MUHOHAHAHA. Got it last Friday, night. I bought It in Alabama, Horrible story odometer wasn't actual mileage. but no less she's still my baby and I'm going to love Her just the same.

12/1205 Maggie Inferno red plain stock (Sunroof, 6 disk mp3) "10110" miles on odo, drove back florida slept in her that first night for three 3hrs in a truck stock, best sleep i ever had.

12/13/08 got into the drive way unloaded and put on my dads K&N filter on 3hrs of truck stop sleep (MMMM she breaths now) Dad had an r/t maggie that was totaled, My kids in the passenger seat t-boned by a passport doing 45 (his Maggie died to save my children as they walked out with out a scratch). Some not so fun stuff, noticed tires are extremely Bald for 10k miles and later a discrepacy with car fax odo and dealer key tag mileage uh-oh, dealers says "hugh?

12/14 figured out definant discrepancy between carfax a customers odo statement at trade in dealer had "no ideas". No fun stuff today other than my commute.

12/15 Monday, its monday after a 1400 mile trip what can I say. I did get to show Off my new toy at work that was kinda cool.figured out definant discrepancy between carfax a customers odo statement at trade in dealer had "no ideas".

12/16 Bad day, kinda go back and forth with the dealer, Thens turns fun at lunch because my suitcase delete was done by a midas in Altamonte they were great $65 welded, mandrel bent what a bargain, and they let me watch the whole time it was cool. Cars sounds like its ready to run, and she can breath at both ends, MUHOOHAHAHA (thats my sinister mad scientist laugh).

12/17 argue with dealer, told to go to chrysler service center we could pull actual mileage on my tab $52, also informed that the 6 months remaining on factory warranty that was sold to me as described by carfax and dealer bill of sale in no loger valid based on year on service, it was a demo but it was not sold to first owner until 6/2006 car only has "11, 025" miles according to odo, chrysler show serivce start up date of date dealer used it as a demo great , Fun at though night Installed 180 degree t-stat, and since I AIN"T GOT NO WARRANTY, so in goes my jet chip (MOHUHAHAHA) thanks again dad, and you old schoolers of 05, who helped him pick out all the stuff.

12/18/08 Goto dealer, get cars read , mechanic says car is great except for tires, car actually has 22,000 and change (still thats twice what was advertised), cool I can breath a little relief ( at least its not 50 or 60, or something worse) . My Pops checks it out and says its in in great shape, but tires bother him as well even for 22k.

12/19/08 today, Firday, Dealer basically claims no responsibily, tells me to go talk to the other sevice center, Fun stuff this evening I posted my first thread on LX, Ahh what a week. Its 11:30 in Orlando I'm going to go pick on some Mustangs. MUHOHAHAHA

Well all i gotta say apart from welcome to the family is,despite all the headache that came with the car i'm sure when you get behind the wheel the headache goes away and that big ear to ear grin on your face as you start her up,yeah you know the one i'm talkin about the one you get when the HEMI starts up...Congrats and good luck and don't worry about it if you find yourself uncontrolably staring at your car for reasons unknown. Its just the LX fever that you have and theres no cure for it...

Isn't it a federal offense for the dealer to misrepresent the mileage at the time of sale? Once the discrepancy is discovered, I would expect them to be required to remedy it at their expense in lieu of pretty serious penalties. Hmmmm.....

Thanks for all the comments, I been gone a while modding and driving the hell out of this magnum, the dealer that changed to odometer ponied up $2600 which is what I asked for. The dealer that sold it to me has yet to do anything.
